Good Morning,
Happy September. Hopefully you are reading this looking for some inspiration or motivation to begin a major change in your life. One that will change your course of direction for good not one that lasts for a week and then dwindles. Simply Different and the lifestyle at its core was a phrase that I said to my friends when I did not want to give a detailed explanation as to why I chose to go for a run or go to the gym rather than go out the bar and drink. "Come on it will be fun." "You don't want to go out and see anyone?" Nope, not at all. So I would tell them my plans that were stopping me from the bar and it was always "well what are you doing that for?" "I'm simply different." Was always the first thing that came to my head and it was much easier than explaining that the bar is a waste of time, money, and energy.
Over time I heard myself using the phrase more and more, and it was even catching on with my inner circle. They too started to say they were simply different. With time the phrase grew into a mentality and a lifestyle. It was no longer an excuse to skip out on something it was now an explanation to do something. An activity that may have been difficult. An activity that may have been unconventional. It was an excuse to challenge myself and my friends every day. I want all of you reading this to use the phrase in the same way. It is only ever "I am simply different." It is only an excuse to push yourself, not one to explain why you sat on the couch watching tv for 8 hours or played video games in every spare moment you had.
Use this phrase every day, every time you did something maybe you didn't want to or even something that you are trying to motivate yourself to do. Watch how your mentality changes. You will start to believe in yourself. Start to realize that you can do anything you challenge yourself to do. At this point, you will have found that motivation to win.
