Saturdays

Happy Weekend everyone!

The work week is finally done and now you have a day to rest. Wrong! Being simply different allows for no rest, in a sense. Just because you do not work today does not mean you do not work if you understand where I am trying to get at. You should still workout on Saturday, you should still take care of yourself, you should still read. Most importantly, you should still work on ways to grow yourself as an individual.

A lot of people who are stuck in the mindset of work, eat, sleep, repeat think that Saturday and Sunday are their days to ditch that completely and just lay back, watch TV for how many hours. That is why they are still stuck living the lives that they want to change. You have 48 hours every week, I guess more like 32 hours, to focus all of your energy on escaping the life you are so desperately trying to. Yet, you get on your phone and consume social media for 6,7,8 of those hours.

The bottom line of today's post is that there is no rest. Saturday and Sunday should be your hardest working days, energy focused entirely on your goals and how you are going to achieve them. Good luck, kill the mentality of resting on the weekend because that time is when the work really begins.
